The top three finishers of the 8^th Zurich Marathon in the Elite Men’s category were all Kenyans: 1st place went to David Kiprono Langat (2:11.03,8), 2nd place to Stanley Leleito (2:11.36,5) and 3rd place to Daniel Kiptum (2:14.00,7). The Russian Olga Rosseeva (2:35.43,6) won for the second consecutive year in the women’s category. She was followed by Lena Gavelin from Sweden, who placed second (2:38.21,4) and the Ethiopian Emebet Abossa, who placed third (2:44.40,7).
